Hey boys,

Has anyone heard from or have talked to Curtis (Freakydude from Immortal Hobbies) as of late? Got the wife convinced to pick me up a Clark board and other items for Christmas. I need her to get these purchased before she buys me something else, something non tank related. If anyone is tracking him, give him a poke. Thanks...

Derek

Derek,

Curtis had some medical issues but he is up and running again and should get back to you shortly. I met up with him last week to pick up a Clark board as he has just gotten a shipment in.

Michael.

Funny he should come up at the time I need to hear from him as well. I placed an order with him a month a go now. I was told that my package was hours away from postage. I presume that his current medical issues have got in the way of the eleventh hour.

EDIT: I've just had an email from paypal saying my order is being shipped. Something is going on. Hopefully Curtis is OK.

I know he shipped some stuff out as I wanted another one but he had just shipped whole bunch of stuff out. I think part of delay was also getting stuff from Clark as well.

Has there been any word from Freaky recently? I have sent him an email and had no reply to it?

Met him for parts on Thursday and he has been shipping stuff out so don' t know why he didn't answer your email. He is off to Utah now until Sunday for work related stuff so don't know if you will hear from him before then. Maybe Sunday night when he gets back (Standard Eastern Time).

Rightio. I guess my order is out there somewhere. It'll be the 4-6 weeks that was quoted rather than the guess 10 days. Bugger.

KYE, Freaky Dude ( IMMORTAL HOBBIES) has been unwell but is back in the saddle, he has reported that he in common with other broadband users in the US & Canada are having some problems with E-MAIL from Europe and he suggests you PM him if in doubt about an order, hope this helps. shaun.

Got a message through on RCU and he is getting caught up. He also said he had to wait on shipments from suppliers. My order should be at my door just after Christmas.

Rightio, Jarndice.

I doubt there is anything Curtis can do now. My order is two months old now what with his health factoring in it. It has been shipped on the 27th Nov by surface post. So I guess that means it is coming by boat (didn't know post still used shipping). I suppose I can only sit and wait to mid January now at best. Customs and Christmas is not ideal for post.

A touch annoying as I have a Tk-22 sitting around I want to hook up to a Turnigy and get my KT up and running proper.

Cheers.
