Really great paint.
These Tigers (Porshe turrets) must have zimmerit (all KT II with porshe turrets were produced before sept. 1944 and all had zimm)

Kapalek,
This is not true. I have plenty of references with the Porsche turrets and no Zim...
This Porsche looks the part, nice job!
Cheers!
Please share some pics of KT's with the porsche turret without zim. I would love to see them. I know of only one and that is the prototype in Bovington. As far as I knew all the production machines had zim.
Would make all our lives easier if we knew we could build a KT and not have to bother with the zim!

A search on 501 schwere SS Panzer Abt in Google images, especially any pics taken during the Ardennes offensive might produce results?

during the Ardenes offensive Germans used only KT with Henschel (Production Turret). There were only about 50 tanks with porshe turrets and all were lost during summer and autumn 1944 (only one survived battles in Normandy and was used in Hungary during winter 1944-1945). All Porshes used in action had zimm. You wont find any pics without zimm paste.
