Tankzone has been appointed Clark Boards sole UK supplier
as most of you know they have one if not the worst reputations in our hobby, for customer service etc. I have emailed Clark and let him know what I think
The price hikes TZ have put on his stuff is un-real, yesterday I ordered a IR sony Controller dircet from Clark at the cost of £7.40 posted. TZ want
£19.95 for the same thing.
also who will repair/replace boards???
drop clark a line and let him know!!!!

It's probably worth mentioning too that after short while you will not be able to buy direct from Clark from the UK as you can now.
In an email to me today Clark informed me that once tankzone are ready all orders for the UK will be re- directed to them.

Maybe when he realises that he's not sold any parts into the UK since the change, he'll reconsider.

This is very bad news I can't even buy anything from tank zone as his site will not even work on my computer as when I press on the buy button nothing happens.
I won't be buying anything of tank zone I was going to get a Clark board for my Stug build but now it's going to be an IBU board from Ian tank bear it mite cost more but at least the service will be five star

I agree with what 'Saracen' says....no sales to the UK and Clark will be forced to think again..... Tankzone prices are ridiculous

Hi
I suspect writing to Clark will have more effect, although I think at this point the deal is done.
I personally think Tankzone will bring in more orders for Clark as their web site seems to have wider audience than the forums where the Clark board is currently talked about, and will provide a shop window for Clark which has been absent in the UK so far. Lots of first time buyers no doubt.
I also think it makes perfect business sense for Clark to have a UK distributor, however I think in this case their choice of partner is rather poor.
Personally I will not buy from tankzone (I can't anyway without e-mailing them as I also have the shopping cart error problem), and I suspect by the time Clark make any change to this situation I will have swapped control boards and my loyalty will be with a different system. There are after all now a number of alternatives, some of which seem more flexible. Where I had previously intended to move to Clark boards for all my tanks I am now ordering alternatives to try.
As for the price i'm not too worried, I will always be prepared to pay (within reason) as long as the product is good, the service is good and the product support is good.
I suspect that the Clark board will no longer meet all these criteria for me following the exclusive Uk distributor deal which has been struck.
If you think the prices are high now, you should take note that the currently advertised price of £69.95 is an "introductory offer".

It's a pity that welsh dragon models didn't take on the Clark line.
