Good Afternoon,
Tankmad has given you great direction and an example of what can be done with the PanTiger. As far as your new\old Walker Bulldog goes, if it were mine, I would change out the electronics and transmitter for a 2.4 GHz setup and use some accessory bits like jerrycans, helmets and stowage to dress it up then just run it and have fun. That's what it's all about at any rate. ;o)

Painless

I was thinking going along that line , but would like to change most of the electrics on the lot for 2.4Ghz sets , and I have just ordered a new top for it so I can practice some spraying with the air brush, but I like the idea of making the panther look like it should as best I can.

Good Afternoon (again) ;o)
Horses, the PanTiger should be a solid runner with new electronics in it and as you know by now, the Heng Long hulls and decks lend themselves well to modifications. Enjoy yourself and have fun turning it into a Panther 'D' or summat'. We'll be looking for pictures. ;o)

Are you looking to make it as accurate and detailed as Jeff1101's? If you are thinking that I hate to be the bearer of bad news but buddy, there are so many things wrong with the Pantiger I don't know where to begin! BUT if you just want to detail it as much as Jeff's that is entirely possible of course. Get ready for a long year! :D

Hey Horses 45... Unfortunately the TAIPANTHER really isn't worth the trouble worrying about...It would take too much to correct it...as the entire lower hull is not correct...
At one point I even thought about creating this VK 1602 PANTHER
Image
but found what is on that TAIPANTHER..is still incorrect

If you do decide to try to correct it... it will take the modification of the lower hull ... upper hull... road wheel... idler and sprocket change...so it might be more economical to purchase a new panther.. and just save this one for paint practice :D
