Hello
I am looking for a circuit design so that I could make it then with the use of Small LEDs have a working rotating beacon for my modern era armor etc. If anyone can post a link to a working design, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
George

Try this George
http://www.diyrc.com/picaxe-minibeacon.htm
I've also found some ebay for between £4 and £15 which might be easier although I have got round to buying one yet to try.

Hi Tankbear
Thanks for that link. I know that site and the only thing for me is that that LED flashes on and off. The Circuit I was hoping for would run several SMD LED glued to a shaft so that each one turned on and off in a rotational pattern, like the real ones do.

Hi forgebear
Thanks for that link, I`ve been there also and the circuit is Costly when converted to Canadian plus the shipping BUT from their last message to me, they don`t ship to Canada.
I would still like a DIY circuit that does the same thing as the one on carson-modelsport`s website.
Maybe Tankbear, you could send me a link to the ones you say on ebay for me to check out?
Thanks ALL for your help.
George

Hi George,
Here's what I have found on ebay, it looks like what your after with a number of SMD LED's but I think is a bit big for 1/16 tanks.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221287863732? ... 1423.l2649
Another one I've been watching, this ones uses four separate LED's, but surely can cut off the LED's and add four SMD LED's provided there is a program which flashes one after the other.

Also if you check out the sellers other items on the second link above, you might find something more suitable.
Hope that helps.
Ian.

Hi Ian
Well as of today, I have NOT heard back from the ebay sellers reg. their circuit. Finding Small SMD LEDs is No problem. All I need is a DIY circuit that controls their flashing rate, manual control would be great and of course small size circuit board as well.
So I still am searching for it.
