The recoil unit requires a constant power supply, and since I throw away the smokers, I have an easy access point. The regular power feed for the gun is then used to trigger the recoil unit, and is only on when you have the left stick in the up position, so can not be used as the constant source.,The Blitz wrote:
Hey YHR,
I got a question, why don't you just use the power from the gun or the original power that is used for the recoil unit?
Thanks,

Ok, I guess I should mees with it my self but why does the recoil unit need constant power feed? In real aplication is the A point forward against the relay? And how does the gun trigger the recoil if the recoil already has power to it?YHR wrote:The recoil unit requires a constant power supply, and since I throw away the smokers, I have an easy access point. Keith, is should work fine!FireflyKeith wrote: I have just brought these micro switches for 0.99p and wondered if they will do for this recoil mod, all it says on the package is two 13A micro switches, if these are no good what do i need
Sorry might help if i put the picture on ::)
That is right Phil. The Spring is extended and Point A hits the micro switch to turn off the constant power to the gun. Blipping the left stick, supplies a shot of power to the recoil motor which moves the internal cam, and the spring pulls back opening the switch to allow the constant power to the motor. This then continues until the gun goes through the cycle, and point A contacts the micro switch to interrupt the constant power feed. The Blitz wrote:Ok, I guess I should mees with it my self but why does the recoil unit need constant power feed?
