Good Afternoon,
After being 'persuaded' (chased down the road and beaten with sticks by the lot of em') by Canned Heat, Dr. Phil and Fynsdad's great Sherman builds, I have a pretty neat stock HL M4A3 enroute from Oz. Once it gets here, I have some interesting ideas and cool items sourced to add to it and hopefully make it a Sherman worthy of sitting by these fellows'
regards,
Painless Wolf

Will you be setting it up for IR? I have not been able to find any Shermans out there already set up with IR.

Good Morning!
*still laughing at Alpha's Benny Hill reference* Palepainter, yes, I have Forgebear sourcing an IR turret for it as we speak. You are correct. What I discovered was that most places who advertised an IR Heng Long Sherman were out of stock and didn't realize it until someone placed an order. CH, I am looking forward to working on this Sherman and going back and forth with you, Phil and Fynsdad on ways to make it realistic and fun to run.
regards,
Painless

Hey Guys,
My sources tell me that HL is phasing out IR on all tanks. The idea being produce the less expensive shelf tank and sell IR kits after market. Just what I have heard.....

It would be an opportunity to produce a Tamiya compatable I/R system at Heng Long prices if they do choose to go to an aftermarket plug in rather than as at present two separate tanks, and of course any Heng Long is then I/R or not as you choose. shaun
