Hi Guys,
Has anyone discovered how to lessen the backwards jump that HL tanks do when the main gun is fired. I have trawled round the archive to see if there has been a post on this subject and havent had any success.
3 oclock in the afternoon and no snow yet. We have had a couple of minor flurries....but nothings settled. I bet I wont be so happy tomorrow morning at 4.30 am when I have to leave for work if I have to chisel the stuff off the windscreen.
All the best.......Mike.

Hi Mickyb if you install Darkiths battle system you can turn it off if you wish both of Darkiths systems remove it or you can leave it the choice is yours they also stop superspin and add mommentum .

....and just for good measure, if you fit the Darkith unit and wire in a muzzle flash, then you will lose the muzzle flash if you select 'de-activate recoil' on the tx, as they share the same circuit.
Elmod replaces everything and does not have a recoil function.

All the above methods sound like they stop it completely, i would rather just reduce it to a more realistic amount similar to what the Tamiya full option tanks have. I've read that fitting the 3:1 ratio gearboxes tone it down a lot. Can anyone vouch for this?

Hi Yes it slows it down to a better level the thing is tanks dont move back when they are shooting to the side.

Yes it does but it still looks really cheezy! I wish there was a way to get the HL board to reduce its backwards dance.

How about this:
http://www.tank-modellbau.de/
Then click on "Zubehor Elektronik" at the left.
The ARM01 and ARM02 are what you want depending on your HL control board.
