Hi guys,

today you are going to modify the observation slits positioned at both sides of the turret.

There are two different versions.



What is wrong with them?

Well, the slit is missing.

Now you have two possibilities to solve this problem.

First one is to buy those slits from a supplier or you do them on your own.

Let’s do the "do it on your own" thing first.

That is very easy.

Take a small screwdriver.



Heat the tip well, probably with a pocket lighter.

Then melt the slit by using the screwdriver.

Just make sure that your slit is not too big.



After melting, grind it.

Then you are done.

It should look a little like this one.



Now let’s do the "I bought one" thing.

The slits you get look like this.



To mount them to the right position, you have to grind the original one down to the first "ring".





Then glue the slits to their new position.



Well, in this case, I prefer the bought version. They look much better, I think.
