Half/track model kits ( 1/15 scale size model ) who makes them ??

Was wondering who makes the half/track model kits in 1/15 scale or a size close to that.And if they are made (think I have seen some of these being built on the forums ) what brand is the best buy.??

Trumpeter is the only one that I know that makes the kits! Century 21 has static models that guys have turned into RC!

Talking of halftracks, checked "that other site" and there's a thread on there for a German company on Ebay selling various versions of the Famo in 1/16th. Pretty heavy going at nearly 300 Euro's before postage but good to see something different available.

quite a few people have converted 1/25 Panther's into 251's and such like

Hi Guys its a resin kit would it stand upto being converted to rc if its being bash about off road and towing an 88mm gun .I think it would snap the tracks then the wheels .

Pete, there is a company who is/has made metal tracks for the famo this is also the same company who has made tracks wheels and sprockets for the Imai Elefant, you would also have to upgrade the sprockets, wheels, swingarms, hull and steering system along with replacing the wheels and tyres

revell also do a 1/16 m16 halftrack, its a static kit but i'm sure it wouldnt be to hard to rc, gary(dog) has one waiting to be made
