Good Afternoon,
After several days of agonising over a Taigen 2.4 GHz Early Tiger 1 Full Metal, a HL Sherman with metal upgrades and standard crystal set (Thank you, Canned Heat *waves a stick* ) and a Taigen 2.4 GHz Panther G with metal main gun, machine gun, etc., I went with the Panther. I've never owned one and the 'G' has a nice range of accessories available for it. I'm adding the engine grills, scale antenna and headlight cover\led from our very own Welsh Dragon fellows to begin with. This should be a lot of fun. http://www.taigentanks.com/Panther%20Ausf.html

Good Morning,
*shakes a stick* Shermans are like potato chips (crisps) You cannot have just one. Since I do not think that the Heavens are going to open up and shower me with filthy lucre so that I can afford an all metal Tiger1 or Elephant, I will be happy to add a HL Sherman after work on the current Panther is complete. You have inspired me.

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your kind offer but I don't want to turn my Panther G into a PanTiger. I will be interested in seeing the pics of your Mato Sherman interior cleanup and 2.4 conversion. That seems to be the thing to do to save space in these Shermans. Enjoy your Friday and your Shermans!

Good Evening,
It finally arrived, safe and sound. Awaiting the add on bits and bobs now. I can already see that more metal additions will be fun...and Taigen, Good Grief, the lids on your boxes are too tight.

Hi Painlesswolf.

Great to see the panther arrived. Bet you can't wait for the extra bits and bobs to turn up now?

could I ask where did you end up buying your tank from?

Scalawag, Good Morning,
You are correct, Sir and on top of that, I'm placing a new order this morning after carefully going over the tank and what came with it last night. Some things are nice, tow ropes are long enough and flexible, jack, C hooks and tow mount and tools can be made nice with a little scratch work. Air defense and mount, spare track mounts, rear deck covers and a decal for the fire extinguisher along with the things already ordered will make for fun modeling and running. I ordered this off of Ebay from a Canadian shop called Funky's. They already have another Panther like mine up for sale at 259.00 US.
Good Friday to you,
Painless Wolf

Good Morning,
Charged up the battery and gave it a test start up and short run. Everything works perfectly. The gun is good and strong. The trim knob took a little getting used to but the tank tracked straight once I found the proper position to leave it at. Next step will be to open it up since some of the accessories need me to have access from the underside of the deck. I love the 2.4. Worth every penny. This will be my last post under this heading for this tank. I'll start a thread on the HL Build or Show off folder going forward from here.
