Just glossing my Sherman prior to laying down decals as I have a hundred times before and it's gone all white? Any ideas?
Can well shaken coats were light yet I've gotten this effect?

I've been advised it could be due to the heat ( its 8:30 here in the uk and still quite warm but not hot) and humidity. I've seen gloss be effected by cold but not this?

That looks like 'bloom' to me , caused by moisture . It can clear all by itself , sometimes , rubbing the surface with a finger can work , or even another coat of clear or thinners - before it hardens too much - in a warmish DRY place . Been there , got the T shirt :silent:

Moisture I think...
On a damp day I just had it happen to me. forgot to drain my moisture trap on my airbrush compressor and got the same result on the final coat on a figure. I was pissed! :-<

If the cans been used you can sometimes find that the pigments grained too and no matter how much you shake them it will bloom if you wet it with your finger and it goes clear than another varnish should then make it all ok but otherwise you could be thinking Ardenne offensive camo
