Herman, that by far the sweetest version of the ambush camp scheme that I have seen. Well done sir.

what can I say.. very good job!!
however I think the standard out the box Heng Long, in grey is so much better, as a favour I'm happy to send you the one I have, as a straight swop.
so you will no longer have to hide at Tank meets

Ahhh, thanks Teddy, I think. There would be postage involved and I am kind of used to being overlooked at the meets now anyway. But thanks for the offer! LOL
Mods include Tamyia boards from Tiger 1, servo recoil, metal tracks, metal suspension, shurzen on the sides with magnetic holders, magnets holding upper hull to lower hull, custom railing on rear deck, stowage, steel gearboxes, 400 motors, opened up the air intake boxes, command antenna, working notek light, (still working on a green tube convoy one for the rear) and of course the paint

Hi Herman,
a nice variation of an ambush camouflage, you made there, which was quite realistic...
I myself would paint something only age and dust, as the colors still seem a bit too bright for my taste.
This could be your Stug is more realistic, but that's my view.
Otherwise it's really well done...

I agree, that is why this tank has received a wash of dark earth and some natural weathering that has toned down the colors to a more natural appearance. It doesn't show up well in the pictures however. I think it is the flash on the camera.

The winter tracks make it quite hard to turn in grass if you are using it outside. I also made a set of the wire mesh schurzen, but I like the solid ones better.
I think you are referring to the command antenna? Six radial spokes? They were used by Bn. commanders and up. Mine is scratch built.
