Check this add out,a 1958 RC Conversion of the Revell M4 Sherman to RC, pretty cool for the date. Is this the birth of the Hobby?

WOW !
If that is a 1/35th (and surely it must be) that is pretty amazing work, even if it was a 'Tethered' model controlled and powered from a hand held box.....its almost worth buying it just to see how it was done....the parts might be hard to find..but there ought to be modern versions that are smaller and more powerful to make it a full RC conversion.
