Hello All

Hoping to buy a second tank in the next couple of weeks and I am thinking about a Heng Long Bulldog. I have read a couple of posts about suspension failures on the bulldog and was wondering if this was a common problem? I was also wondering if you have to remove the tracks to take the top of the hull off as you have to do with the HL Tiger 1?

Many thanks for your advice.

I have a couple of Bulldog chassis I'm using as a basis for conversion and have not had any problems with the suspension when I drove them before starting my conversion work, I have heard of people having suspension problems but it seems to be the odd one not a general thing, I think all Heng Long models can suffer suspension damage, it only takes a slight defect to become a weakness.
The body comes off easier than the Tiger you just have to undo the screws from the bottom of the body tub but there are no screws above the tracks.

Good Morning,
I got one of the Taigen 'prepainted' series Walkers a couple of Christmases ago and it has been a fine runner so far. It scared me when I ran it initially because I thought that the rattling sound I heard when running it was some issue with the gearboxes or sprockets. I have since discovered that this is Heng Long's foray into 'track rumble' like the VS Tanks and some other brands do. The gun is not a great shooter but like all of HL's tank mounted airsoft, "you buys your ticket and you takes your chances" The smoker works great on this one so I am pleased enough with it's performance overall to not see a need to pull it apart. I will one day to see what sort of gearboxes it has and to see to that main gun. You should be pleased with yours when it arrives. Heng Long these days is quite a bit different and better thing overall than in years gone by.
regards,
