hi all wot wot
now and again I get intrigued on certain things at the mo ment its gunnery sergeant john basilone a American marine k,i,a, iwo, jima the thing is there are so many versions/accounts of his actions, death, shot blow up by mortar/shell fire, on the beech ,at the airfield , any one from across the pond got access to official document say the burial party records, the hbo series pacific is accurate or not ? or just glorified tv ?,
but with out a doubt this man was very brave and deservedly the recipient of the medal of honour ,posthumous navy cross, purpleheart.
it would be nice to know, ta ta for now wot wot .
