Bulldog and Panzer springs - are these the ones?

I read somewhere that the Panzer springs can be used to beef up the Bulldog suspension by using uprated ones front and rear, when metal tracks and sprockets are fitted.

Are these the ones that I need?

they are the ones you want rob, blueslateman does them aswell, and we get dicount in his web shop, another thought worth a go is to double up the springs, ie put 2 standard springs in each shock, like some cars have, though i'm not 100% sure if it would work

Its possible that these would also do the job but it means a lot of work to get them on  :o :o :o

Those should do the job, too.  You'll just have to use the Bulldog screws and pins.  Of course, you've already replaced the pins at the top of the strut; so, that one should be easy.  It would just be a matter of checking to see if the existing screw at the bottom where it attaches to the swing arm is interchangeable.

In comparing the shocks on my PzIII and my Bulldog, they appear to be the same part in every respect.

How many of those springs would be needed? Are they available besides ebay?
Thanks!

Ok, I have the springs, but how the heck do I get the shocks apart? I am trying to avoid dismantling the hull to remove the pin, so have just removed the allen bolt on the lower mount. Although I am compressing the outer shroud completely against the spring I don't seem to be able to unhook the top mount from the inner that links to the bottom one. Is there a knack to this?

I don't want to force anything and risk breaking a mount.

Rob

Hold the the top of the strut that goes to the chassis and pull down on the plastic outer shroud compressing the spring as much as poss

the inner shocker should tilt forward and un hook ;)
