A great idea and while you are in the kitchen when the 500 gramme tub of Nescafe is finished, just cut the cardboard away and you have a sheet of metal with a wealth of uses, it cuts easily and it takes Solder and of course you can drill it and like the Coke can it also is free. shaun

At this time of the year (christmas) a lot of biscuit tins and sweets quickly get emptied, well before she who lights your life gets hold of them grab them for the workshop, the amount of quality metal in one of the tins is a wonder to behold.I just made a cross brace for the engine bay on a Panzer 4 from a Cadburys Roses tin, perfect and plenty left, I have eyes on a tin of biscuits in the living room next. shaun
