Very difficult to tell from that angle , its the rear end and engine deck that will give the best identification .
From what little knowledge I do have of Sherman in Israeli service they used surplus stocks from the
American Government . Being as over 3,000 M4A3 (105) were produced I would say it is possible its an M4A3
However , im no expert !

Have you thought of searching for an IDF museum in Israel , sending the picture to a curator and asking the question ?.
Being proud of their fighting heritage in Armoured warfare im sure there must be one.

I have done this with other Sherman pictures linked to Regiments , I have contacted the Regiments website
and you will be surprised the wealth of information that comes back . Sorry I cant be more helpfull .

Yes there is indeed an IDF Armour Museum in Israel. It's at Latrun. Google 'Yad La-Shiryon' and you'll easily find info re. contacting them. I'm sure they will be able to help.

seafire.

The tank is M4 radial engine. The Tamiya hull fit perfectly without the sponsons
