tamiya tank machine guns

i have two tamiya full option kits completed-a tiger i and a leopard 2a6-controlled by a futaba t6j tx to futaba r2006gs rx--everything works correctly except the machine guns on both tanks--i think 
!!--that it is operator error in useing the right stick and operating the trim to get the guns to fire--all comments and advice are welcomed--thank you--hue city
