hi guys, well for my buurrppzzday i got myself a stug III g and like my panther it will be made into a semi static model,as with the panther g the heng long stug is realy good on detail and only needs a few modifications to make it look good,i got it out the box and me,my son and my friend had some fun with it,now i've stripped it down and removed alot of stuff, filled holes ect ready for the work ahead,i will order some new parts from WELSHDRAGONMODELS soon...ie
new saukopf mantlet.
brass etch screans for air inlet.
side skirts.
things i,m doing at the moment,
just finished moving ariel to right place and made a shot deflector from green stuff putty,i also scribed the upper hull
to make the joints in the armour,i'm also going to add new atachment points for the 3tonn crane on the hull roof and resurface the armour and finaly a stowage rack for the rear of the stug.
here are some pics.

hi guys, got some great items from WELSHDRAGONMODELS :D in the post this morning
the ATAK saukopf mantlet is a very impressive bit of resin, nice detail and very little clean up,fitting is realy straitforward and in these pics it is dry fitted for the moment.

I think it makes more sense on cast steel armour like Russians and US, but roll steel armour should be pretty smooth unless like Eastern said painted lots of times or eusting thru.
