Hi all,

I have just started my journey into RC tanks, I have got a Heng long Sherman at the mo, and am looking to expand at a later date, more on that in a better place 8)

I have had RC boats for a while now, and am also starting out in RC helicopters and planes, as well as alot of experiance in model railways, whihc I hope will come in handy!

Anything else you want to know, ask away!

All the best

Sean

Welcome to the forum Sean.

The Sherman is one of the newer heng long tanks so should be better put together than say the older tiger. But their still ship with rubbish battery charger so I would recommend binning it. With your Rc experience you probably already have a decent charger so not a biggy issue. Also larger capacity battery is a good move.

Ian.

Thanks for the welcome lads and the Sherman charger is an oddity, but I have a spare bat for her all ready! and a spare charger, and some photos on my little thread thing, http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... 22&t=10964

Greetings Lister,

I have never been called sensible before! :haha: Im ususally the one being told to behave myself and not be so daft (or thats the printable version at least!)

the 1:30 sounds really POO, I think its got a childs toy box inside, as when you turn it off it says 'good bye' in a really silly voice :{ hmmm, I thin maybe getting a big RC chinook, a parachute and some forthought could be highly entertaining XD
