Been here a while, mostly just admiring everyone elses tanks.

I have just upgraded a friends HL Tiger 1 to an el-mod think tank eco control unit, spektrum DX6i transmitter and AR6210 receiver.

Everything appears to work fine but it won't turn whilst driving.
The turret controls are all working, it shoots BB's, It drives, It turns on the spot. But won't turn whilst driving.

I have tried the various DIP switch options and neither makes any difference.
I thought it might be that the metal tracks are too heavy, but took them off and still the same.

Is this normal, or should I be able to drive and turn at the same time??
Or any Ideas what I can do to sort this?

He got the unit from a company in Australia due to having issues with the elmod site so am a bit reluctant to send it back unless I absolutely have to.

Did you run the test described in the ElMod manual to verify the motor connectionsare correct?

Hi,
I downloaded that and followed it to the letter. If it was my tank I probably would have just thrown it all together and worried about it when something went wrong. But as it is for a friend I made sure I did everything as the instructions said. Been away from home the last couple of days but will go back through it all again this afternoon.

I just find it a little odd that it kind of works.

Even stranger, this appears to have fixed its self.

I did the install and everything works great, but one thing. That is the wingfold sound. I could not hear anything. So, my question would be, is the wingfold sound modded in Tiger_33 Mod? Because I get engine, flaps, canopy sounds, all great by the way. If anyone should have a suggestion, it would greatly appreciated.

Throwing a Tiger 1 off the roof is never going to end well....
