Hello,
I'm Mike, and have just got into 1:16 tanks via an annoyingly tempting video of a KT firing its gun with recoil & flashy lights... how was I to resist?
Anyway... I'm not a tree surgeon, but don't let that stop you asking me questions about trees. As long as you don't mind stupid answers, we'll get on just fine
I forgot to mention that I'm also a static modeller, making aircraft & AFvs. Here are a few I've built over the years (all 1:35):
NbFz
A-39 Tortois
Renault FT-17
Pak-44
SwS with Infrared Searchlight
I won't bore you with the winged things

Thanks chap

I stand well clear on Dutch Elm disease... nasty stuff
I like unusual AFVs (and planes for that matter). My KT is stock at the moment, so not really worthy of taking a shot of. I have some metal exhausts on the way though, and plan on adapting a Tiger I Taigen LED MG34 barrel to fit in the bow MG port so it looks a bit more realistic & continues to flash. I've also cracked the hull and greased up all the gears, as one side was greased, the other wasn't. Go figure... The BB unit is bust already too, so I've got to fit a new one. I have a background in Airsoft gearboxes, so I'm quite at home pulling things to bits & re-engineering them
Must get to grips with the smileys... it's limiting my emoting a bit. Feel like I've been botoxed

Thanks - it's the new Meng kit that was released last year. A little cracker of a kit, and well worth a punt if you like smaller model armour - I did a build article on my website a while back here

I've heard good things about the HL KT, and once I've tinkered with it, I'm going to give it a proper paint job and weathering. I think I'll steer clear of my usual acrylic for that though, as enamel is a lot more durable, so should stand up better to (clumsy) handling.

Thanks

It's also not a medical reference... honest! It's just a random combination of words that popped into my befuddled brain as I was asked for a username

Thanks for that
As to your plums, might I suggest you wash them from time to time? Mucky boy!
