was up the loft the other day and came across a load of vehicles and figures I must have painted when i was a kid. They were all pretty bust up but all the bits were still in the box. This was long before i sprayed models so am pretty chuffed with what i done back in the day. Also long before i knew what weathering was ! I don't remember making tanks so much back then, in fact was more into aircraft. Anyway i hope you like this russki tigger. The aeriel has gone but i do recall burning some spare sprue over a candle to make the aeriel, so will do that again.

Nice find Doc, you made them to a good standard in those days.
I never painted mine to such a realistic finish just used the standard Humbrol paints out of the tin so they looked very stark and blocky.
None of mine survived, they were all "destroyed" by anti tank fire when I discovered air rifles!

yeah jonger all my aircraft ended up shot to pieces by either an air rifle shot or burned to fit it into some airfield diorama ! I remember having a beautiful B17 and my sister decided it had to die and threw it across the room ! Arghh !lol I've got a good german armoured car and a jagdtiiger (all 1/35) to do up and around 40 odd troops and a wilys jeep and trailer !
