hi ya all.
im pretty new to rc tanks so please bare with me. i bought a taigen bulldog pro for my nephew and i think im hooked.so not content with one i bought a used tiger 1 a week later.now this thing had seen better days so i did what any normal (addict)would do.i went out and got myself a taigen metal hull, metal idlers, metal wheels, metal tracks and a taigen 4.1 metal gears.now jumping in at the deep end is a under statement i was wondering were to go from here.ie dont no to use the rc2hl or clarke board or even what paint schemes to use.so any help would be grateful.

so let the battle commence.

Looks like you will have your hands full just from the body work, so I would suggest that you stay with whatever electronic you got form the used tiger before venturing into hobby grade electronics, especially if you had a blast with the stock bulldog anyway.

Once you have the body/hull sorted out, it is very easy to upgrade from stick HL/Taigen to rc2HL or clark etc. In fact, for RC2HL you will still use your RX-18 MFU if that's what you have. If your used tiger is a Taigen then you won't even able to use RC2HL with it (Well there is no point since Taigen is already 2.4 Ghz).

hi dictator99 & welcome to the forum.
i see you already dived in head first :haha:
if you look at other peoples builds, your head will be spinning with the almost endless possabilities of what you could
potentially do to your tank.
even the bulldog, although not too many upgrade parts, there's shedloads of stuff you can do to it.
you may need another tank, so you got one to work on whilst your battling with your nephew
have fun & dont forget to check out the good & bad vendors section! !!!
cheers
lister
