Hey guys no one can find anymore Walterson Gear boxes. They seem to have disappeared!!!!!!!

That would be correct, because I don't believe there are any Waltersons gearbox sets that are made to specifically fit Taigen tanks yet, so none will be listed for that purpose on the the site. As Derick eluded, try contacting Curtis (FreakyDude) of Immortal Hobbies by PM to see if or when he or Waltersons may come out with a set which drops right into Taigen tanks. He was in discussion with Waltersons about it, as well as looking into having plates made for Waltersons gearboxes to fit Taigen tanks himself, but I'm not sure anything has come out of either of those attempts as of yet.

Otherwise, if you definitely want Waltersons, then you have to get a Waltersons set where the shaft length is appropriate for the Taigen Tiger, & where you will then have to modify the mounting plates to fit them to your Taigen Tiger I mounts. It can be done, just not an easy drop in exchange effort.

I have some one who can modify just need Walterson gear box for Taigen Tiger. They can do the plate. Thanks for your replies...

Forgebear on ebay has some although not certain if international shipping is offered.

Waltersons Gearboxes are not missing, they are here. Just not available for the Taigen as of yet. Hang in there some news will be coming soon with regard to the Taigen but I am not spilling any beans until I physically have some show and tell material.

Have you tried Dave (forgebear) I think he has got some in.
