is it ok to use loctite super glue gel to stick metal parts to heng long plastic

yes

like woz said its a yes, the gel is probably a bit better, it doesnt go every where like the liquid can

thanks woz some glues wont stick to heng long plastic does anyone know what type of plastic it is

i'm not 100% sure raven, but i think it may be ABS/polystyrene cross, its a weird plastic, and youre right, not much sticks to it permanantly

would keying the surface of the plastic help the item to be glued on with the super glue gel stick better

yea roughing the plastic might give a better bond

sanding the etch brass face or the metal face that you glue to the plastic also helps....
