Hey man, how is this thing comming together ? , great stuff up to now

I have read through this build several times and always pick up something new every time. How is this project coming along? Thanks for posting all the references and build photos.

The wooden block was the replacement for the travel lock device. Somebody, somewhere, must have said "We could make this simpler".
Probably someone who wasn't German!

A big hello to every one on the Forum,its been a long time since i last posted and i would like to say a warm and friendly "thank you" to PhotoBucket for wrecking a lot of peoples hard work including mine !

So in the last 5 years whist being off grid I have had one career change ( after 33 years of service),two house moves, one Daughter off to University and the little boy I built the original Tiger for is now a 19 year old Ford apprentice. So now I have my garage back and the long dark nights are here, its time to finish what I started.

First Job is to replace all the pictures... I will have to upload them from memory but I will try to rebuild the thread, may take some time !

Sadly, Photobucket has deprived the Forum's archive of many prized images, in the pursuit of more cash. When you're able to restore the bumped off images, this thread will have a real Lazarus moment!

Just recently went into Photobucket and downloaded all of my pics I had there and closed my account. Screw them. All of the ads they run made it very difficult to get anything done.

Thanks for the welcome back, yes its a real shame how damaging the impact had on these forums but we must deal with it and move on, chin up and all that First page rebuilt ..... lots more to go !
