It gave the building report for this tank here in the forum, and I had it almost forgot - to release photos in this forum of the finished Kingtiger "Number 313" of the 3. s. Heeres Pz. Abt. 501 in Poland in August 1944. And here they are.

Hi Guys,
thanks for your comments. Yes, traces of a battle...
Maybe the tank would look better with some battle damages, but I haven't do it, because the unit was only reconstituted in July/August 1944. The unit have received 45 new Tiger II-tanks at the Ohrdruf training area.

At August 5 they was relocated to the Baranow Bridgehead in the east; the first attack was conducted on August 11 from Chmielnik in the direction east until Obledo, then the attack was stopped in face of strong resistance. Three tanks were totally destroyed and I don't know, whether tank 313 was among them. Since this time I don't know anything about this tank.
The rest of the battalion surrendered later at Höxter at Easter 1945. (taken from: "Tigers in combat I")

Therefore has my Kingtiger no battle damages, he is shown directly after the railroad transport in a polish pine Forest in August 1944.

It would be very nice, if there is someone, who knows more about the lifetime of Kingtiger 313 from the third heavy tank unit 501. ???

Fantastic paint job. I love the subtle camo pattern and the dusty feel of the tank. You did a great job on this tank. Do you have more tanks?

Hello Ghost Tanker,
yes, I have still more rc tanks. The King Tiger was my second tank, I've made my first experiences with a HengLong Tiger 1. He is also to see in this section, titled "Tiger I late version part 1".
At the moment I build a Tamiya Panther type G; the construction steps are to see in the forum Tamiya Builds, titled "Panther G on the Eastern Front 1945".
By the way, also your Tiger I is a little fine specimen.
