Yep, basically guys scratch build/ modify, cut and paste, etc... to create a tank that never was! LOL! It might have gone as far as prototype but that would be it. It a step beyond just modifying an existing model to be a specific variant. It's fun looking at what might have been!

Oh dear.
I actually thought it was a "paper" panzer.
I even downloaded a template for a panzer4
It had a nice camo aswell
Never did print it off & cut it out
oh well, live & learn :)

thanks for that guy's, so basically it could be anything you want it to be as long as you can build it. @ lister don't feel bad i probly would have done the same :haha:

Yes and no......for example, the E-100.....it was almost complet at the end of the war...proof

Image

the hull was even finished and driven by the brits for testing....

Image

some people like to take the designs and make them into a tanks they can run around with......like this

Image

there are some paper panzers like the porsche attempt at the tiger tank contract(vk4501 p)...that got made and fought

Image

and there tanks like the vk3002 db ( damiler bid for the panther contract)

Image

that got built but were rejected....

hope that helps

O.K. I am going to throw 2 more cents into the pot. I consider a paper panzer one that never made it off the factory floor or better still never made it off the drawing board. I consider completed models, one offs, test beds, as prototypes not really paper ones. Just splitting hairs!
Just me.... LOL!

Very cool! There are so many forward thinking ideas on these. I especially like the engine venting! What was the estimated all up weight on these? I would especially be interested to know on the leafspring suspension. Do you have the projected specs for these? I am going to have to look these up! :D
