Hello,

I joined a couple of days ago, just thought I would say hi.

I have just bought a Heng Long King Tiger, really impressed with some of the builds on here and will probably be back for advice soon :D .

Thanks

Robert

Hello Robert, welcome to the forum, Derek has already given you a hard earned warning about the potential for imminent bankrupcy in this hobby, my lady calls it an obsession, she of course knows nothing. First things first, As with everyone joining us for the first time, I would urge you to go to the vendors site, there you will find approved and disapproved dealers, go to the approved dealers and your enjoyment of this madness will become even better for without exception you will find them to be helpful and knowledgeable, you will save your temper and money if you do that. there is a good reason why we have a disapproved site, some of us discovered the hard way about these vagabonds, please do not become another one. Finally ASK all the questions you like, we enjoy answering them. shaun

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I have already started buying add-ons for the tank (A dragon Anti track recoil and some phot etched grills from Steve at welshdragon, great service  ).

Also got a spare top hull/turret off a well known auction site for trying out different paint schemes.

I can see this could be an expensive hobby ;D

Thanks

Robert
