hi all,i have converted a wsn t34 to heng long electronics,rx18 board etc,the problems are i seem to be able to get gun flash or kick back when you fire but not both together(can only wire in one or the other)gun flas is just two wires from a bulb not the high intensity one,the other problem is forward and back on the controller is left and right on the tank,left and right is forward and back its all back to front, due to this problem kickback is kind of a zig zag movement ,any body got any ideas

From memory you need to switch one of the motor leads wires so you get both motors running in same direction.

I think Ian is right, I do remember having to play with the motor leads to get the tank to go properly when I converted mine to HL electronics. I think I also replaced LED from the barrel as well with a standard HL ones, which is also two leads so it is a simply swap. Didn't like the red LED in the original WSN.

Are you saying that uou can only get kick back OR LED Flash but not both at the same time ? There are different spots for them on the RX-18 connection so it shouldn't be mutually exclusive.

hi guys thanks for the info,tracks are now running in the correct wayyes thats correct one or the other not both and it is the red wsn bulb with two wires any ideas.

Are you using the WSN recoil and trigger ? I can't remember what WSN use for triggering the track recoil and the flash LED. Can you send a pic of the recoil unit ? You might need to "double tap" it to the LED and the RX-18 track recoil from that trigger/micro-switch.

When I did the WSN conversion to HL Electronics, I was also doing a hull conversion to SU-100 so I think I pretty well rip out everything that was WSN and also put in a high intensity flash as well because I got a new barrel which will take the thicker flash bulb.

yes i am using the origanal recoil and trigger,there is no elevation as it is a 76 conversion and ther just isn`t room in the turret,everything else works,just cant get the flash and kickback to work together

You wire the led flash between the IR port and recoil port I just cannot remember the pins at the moment and away from computer. I find answer and post tomorrow.

The flash LED should be connected to the first 2 pins on CN5 I believe. Is that right, Ian ? The POS and the Strobe trigger.
