For uk members on now Tankies - Tank heroes of WWII on BBC2
Its being repeated if you have missed it!

The programme was called Tankies - Tank Heroes of WWII and it told the story of the Fifth Royal Tank regiment in World War Two.
The first programme was from the beginning of the war from the BEF in france, on to the Desert campaign then in to Italy.

Its on BBC iplayer and the second episode starting with D-Day is on next sunday at 9pm on BBC2

Brilliant programme with the diaries and experiences of surviving members of the regiment illustrating real history and the film that accompanied it was superb, lots of WW2 tank footage I had not seen before.
Well worth watching.

Missed it and BBC I PLAYER does not work outside UK.

Quick reminder - the second episode is on tonight at 9pm and just noticed before it at 8pm is "The battle for Malta" BBC 2 both programmes.

Bbc I player does not work outside uk. I downloaded both episodes on VUZE . Worth watching.

In recorded both episodes, then wached them back to back last night...great viewing, makes a change from the usual cr*p
