are there any ex pat brit living in france on here? thinking of making the move and crossing the channel with the wife. looking for real experiences of house rental prices, food, attitude etc. hopefully we would love to be in the normandy area. any info would be cool

Couple of people where I work have bought second home over in France not certain of the areas but their love it. As long as their make effect to speak French to the locals their get a warm welcome.

yeah thats what my dad said, they have just bought a stunnig git in normandy, for less than most people put down as a deposit over here. that is what swung it for me. good weather, good cheese and good wine. lol just got to find about jobs.
