the hot dogs that i see being eaten by adam on man v food, are the same as we get get in the uk? me and the mrs get bockwurst in brine, but the yank ones are grilled or fried. can we do that with ours? just curious as we love the program and sometimes have a go at doing some of the stuff we see( just in not as big volumes. :D )

Hello Jeff,

Grilled is better than fried, although fried in a pan with some onions is good as well. You need the onions to start getting caramelized/browned for this to really taste good.

Try it,

sprout eat off would be funnier, well about two hours later anyway.

think we should set up a food thread. could be fun, within about 15 mins of getting into pub someone is talking about cooking. dont know about anyone else, but i'm a keen chef

love the smell and look of ribs, just wish i could bring myself to eat them. i'll eat any meat( no rude comments lol) as long as it's not on a bone. cant even eat chicken legs. don't know what the hell started it. just me being strange. and south african bbq is stunning( my ex bro in law was from S A)

Don't think anything strange about eating off the bone. I can eat ribs, pork chops, T bone etc but the small chicken bones I can't do. And any fish a no no. I know the fish comes from when I was a child my mum making me eat fish and I always managed to get the bones stuck in my throat

Beer cooked hotdogs ;) will try that thanks Eastern front

Also saw a man v food yesterday with cheese in middle of a buger (2 burgers formed together) will try that out as well.

Man I'm hungry now. @)
