HL smoker "new version"?

I found these on rctank.de. Anyone knowing anything about them, or tested one

Looks like quieter and stronger heater element but not seen them in action.

It doesn`t seem like many know much about them. I`m really curios so I will order the standard unit (not proportional) together with some other stuff. After I have tested it for a while I can post a reply here to let you know how it works.

Hi,
I think it is the same 'Old Pump' idea in a
new clear box...I am sorry to say...I have blown up the German sites image and photographed a very old Heng Long Smoke unit......and here are the two images for comparison......

I know, they look very similar, but the new one is supposed to have a stronger filament and a quieter motor. I don`t know, maybe it is the same crap.

I hope that you are right about the smoke unit. I must admit that I did not read anything about it from the site just looked at the pictures and did a straight comparison .....But I do have to wonder why in the 21st Century are they using a 'Piston' to move air ....

.........On a slightly different note..... Please can I ask
if you do have a 'Dnepr' ??.....I must admit that I have always had a soft spot for the 'Russian' BMW's....
but the current 'New' prices are simply outrageous...
F2 motorcycles have the ' M70 ANNIVERSARY EDITION' ,the quoted price is £12250.00
TWELVE THOUSAND POUNDS..When I first saw it I thought that the decimal point was in the wrong place......

P.S. One of the 2 wheel drive ones over 'Here' would go down a Treat......'Camo' it up and put the 'Correct WW2 Number Plates' on it..and then park in the local Market Square.

I know we`re off topic now, but since I was asked, here it is. It`s the Ukranian version "Dnepr" of the Russian BMW-copy "Ural". I restored it from a wreck. Best regards.

Hi!
I now have done a couple of test runs of the HL smoker "new version", and this far it is actually better
. It starts smoking immediately and the motor is quieter. I haven`t installed it though, it will probably sound a bit moore when it is in the body. Time will show if it lasts.

The thing that puzzles me is the site showing the Smoke Unit has at the base of the advert the words first shown August 2007!!! so it would appear not to be that recent but I am probably missing something, right now I am missing a strong drink. I would like to echo DNEPR Happy New Year to everyone on the forum. shaun
