Scale modelworld Telford.

Just returned from my yearly visit to scale modelworld at Telford, the worlds biggest model show allegedly with 1/3 more space this year. Folk from pretty much every country there with LOTS of discounted kits if your into anything other than 1/16th scale, although I did see a couple of 1/16th Trumpeter T34's and the US half track gun carriage going for £90 which is a fair discount.
Got an iron in the fire for the Bandai 1/15th Hummel, gawd knows what it'll cost mind. Also at the show were a couple of real tanks, a French AMX30 and a real rare animal, a Valentine DD. The guys who used those even in training, never mind action were bloody brave men, talk about put together with spit and bailing wire!
Only offputting thing, dunno if it was the excitement or what but never smelt so many people farting! Perhaps its part of the competition or something, had to keep walking round muttering "its not me" everytime the wife gave me a withering look. Its on tomorrow too where the kits get even cheaper, well worth a punt if you're local.
Abo.
