Suitable hull paint

Bit of a noob question here, im planning to repaint the hull of my HL King Tiger and need to know what is a suitable paint, are Tamiya XF paints up to the job??? if not what ones are?

no, use either tamiya thinner or isopropal alcohol. some people us car screen wash, but i have never tried it. if you use water i have found it doesnt thin and sort of goes gooey.

Thanks, ive found Tamiya TS-3 Dark Yellow in a rattle can which seems a perfect base code for the hull

Made a start, a 500ml rattle can of primer has only done 2/3 of the tank, so got to wait for some more from ebay now

Real expensive using 10ml xf tins!

To be fair ive painted a lot parts which didnt really need to be and wont be covered in a top coat lol
