Here is a video of the homemade smoker in my Tamiya Tiger1. I used a Graupner 6v smoker, computer fan, etc and tied it into the drives with the exception that I have full power to the fan at initial power to the drives and a pulse effect from my transmitter to allow for smoke on startup and engine revs. I was trying to avoid having it smoke all the time....
Looks great ,I had to do a dissection of mine, slight gearing and leak problem, must look into rerouting tubes, good job ,well done!!!!

Thanks,
I haven't got any build details really; it's set up with a homemade enclosure inside the speaker box with a computer fan and Graupner 6V smoker. I'm still not really happy with it, I would like to recreate the "puff" effect instead of the steady stream of smoke. I'm working on a speed variable rotating baffle to intermittently interrupt the smoke output. I don't have a Henglong smoke unit, but like the idea of the piston, however I've read that they are unreliable and noisy. I think I'm also going to remove the Tamiya speaker enclosure, or reduce it's size as space is a premium in the tank. I've tried mixing Varsol and Baby oil at a 50/50 mix and it smokes quite well, but stinks, and gives me a headache, lol.
