Hi everyone, my names Ian from Buckingham in the UK. Had a long interest in armour having built a fair few 1/35 tanks in my younger years. I only have one large scale kit at the moment, a 1/16 Tamiya King Tiger but the early version (56004). I'm considering upgrading it to the DMD version as long as I can source the required parts for a reasonable price. Have just put together the list of parts required, it's quite long! So we will see! Anyone here upgraded an early Tamiya and have any suggestions or thoughts? It seems a shame to leave it as a static model as I built it quite some time ago and even applied my own zimmerit!

Long term ambition - to go large! 1/6 or maybe even 1/4 scale one day!

A ps to what I said earlier, before you go ordering bits and pieces for your Tiger make sure you check the approved list of vendors because it could cost you a large sum of money if you get it wrong.
