RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Picked this up on Ebay for £13.05.
It arrived fully charged and ready to go, and everything works.
Sadly it was the NATO cammo version, so I gave it a quick coat of light sand.
It needs a lot of work to bring it up to scratch, here's the list :-

Turret
Rebuild tc's cupola and weapon mount
Rebuild loaders hatch and weapon mount
Fabricate infra-red/laser detector
Replace smoke grenade launchers
Replace antennae mounts
Re-align main gun mount
Fit APU in turret stowage basket
Build and fit correct mounts for tow cables on turret sides

Hull
Modify angle of lower hull front
Modify, recess and correctly align headlamps
Fit guards for headlamps
Correct drivers periscopes and guards

Running Gear & Electronics

Replace tracks and drive sprockets with those from the HL Pershing
Fit HL S&S electronics inside turret
Add dual battery mod
Add charger plug

I think that's about it, but I'm sure there will be other things to do.

Hi Mackem is this one of the hoby engine models 1/16 scale its looking good .

mee too, but for £13.50 any working rc tank is worth that, good buy!!

Pete, yes it's 1/16. Just over 2 feet long!
Matt & Mezzerik, watch out, armouritis modernus is very infectious. 
I've just noticed that there is a section on the forum called, 'Other Builds'.
Looks like my Abrams and Leo fall into that category, so I'll post progress updates there from now on.
