hi i have a new model from heng long , the new tiger 2.4g ! this is not just a rc upgrade ,the mouldings and detail is much improved .the normal taigen metal plated ,chassis rod suspension track adjusters .lift off top but
these are some thing i have noticed different from the older model

the turret
metal barrel correct length,with reworked muzel brake ,reworked turret lift points,reworked view ports,turret weld lines
turret bins corrected with detailed scale and centre lift point,and extra detail on the hatch .they have moved the hatch round, but still not far enough?

the hull

drivers vision port open ,hatches with optics,new round lights with slits,only one rear light molding,hull mid Aeriel mount .also has better louder sound in the accessories there 4x hull smoke launchers a bucket plus all the usual stuff . looks like it has a remote charging point in the rear, jack
type plug, but no information on this in the instruction ? anybody else got one? regards roger

Steve I noticed the ones you sell are not painted? Is that correct? I have seen the other ones for sale on Ebay and Amazon but they are painted in brown camaflouge. Can we get one from you painted?

They are painted yellow. These are new models with new mouldings and the latest 2.4Ghz electronics. The Taigen Tigers which are more widely available on eBay and Amazon are more likely to be repainted, and in some cases upgraded, versions of the original Heng Long Tiger 1. The new Taigen Tiger is a big improvement in terms of detail and accuracy, although I think most enthusiasts would want to repaint them Panzer Grey or a darker shade of yellow/camo. The title of the original posting on this subject by another member is a little misleading, this is a Taigen model, not a 'Heng Long Taigen Tiger' although with so many RC Tiger variants on the market I can well understand how people get confused, it confuses me sometimes!

(We only have a few of these left and it may be a while before we get any more in).

i have this new mod from w d m it is a good improvement over the hl mod, you can be forgiven thinking its the older taigan mod its finish
is vastly impr oved over hl,and early metal taigan ? it is painted a yellow , it is worth a buy in my opinion mine runs smoothly well pleased with it ,it is now back in its expensive looking packaging awaiting santa. ta ta for now wot wot.

the new taigan tiger does not have the metal wheels or drive /idlers track they are plastic but they are still good the deatail in the wheels is great [ late tiger] the hull ,gear box are metal , as is the barrel .

Would anyone here know if the Taigen Tiger can use spare HL Tiger I tracks?

Do you know how to remove the wheels on the Taigen (late version)?
