Hi, just bought both Asiatam Panzer 11 hull and wheels and it looks good except I cant see how thw idlers are attached. The thredded screw seem short and wobbles around in the whole!! if you know what i mean. Am i missing somethink here is is it a bit of a bodge job to fit?

Not certain on the panzer3 but on the tiger you need the asiatam idlerrs wheels as the HL ones have a larger diameter shaft.

Yes you can't use the threaded screw it's for plastic only. You need new idler shafts (can I call it shafts?) or a set of metal idler wheels which usually come with the shafts you need. Get Asiatam ones so you don't have to fiddle with drilling new holes or anything.

I haven't got around to swapping everything over to my Asiatam (now Taigen) Panzer III lower hull.

I didn't go for the metal road wheels, but there were 6 axles in the bag which I took to be for the idler wheels.

However, I have also bought the late pattern metal idlers and these didn't come with any axles.

Has anyone done the change over already?

Hi again thanks for the replys. The hull i got came with meal arms fitted so i assumed the Asiatam wheels would just fit. As i said all fits except the idlers, not sure how to go on. Might have to maks some sort of collar to macke hole smaller.

Hi, yep the back idler. Is got a threaded long screw in the the shaft ( came with that in) but its far to small in diameter for the hole it supposed to go in. Will see what i can find out from Asiatam. thanks.
