dont you just love those part work magazines , so you can build a model for four times the the price of getting the same thing? feel free to add your own .

Yep my mate is buying build your own tiger tank, which is 70% plastic for £800, i showed him my taigen metal tiger 1, looks better and moves and fires for only £161.
Needless to say he was pissed.

been looking at the soveren? (how the hell do you spell it) of the seas. lovely looking kit, but you could build it from billings boats for two thirds the price

yeah a mate also mentioned that down the pub, we worked it out at just over a grand, yeah righto i said, can buy much better for half the price

i have the first 20 parts in the loft as i sat down worked it out and thought that for a game of soldiers

also those beer adverts that come on, just as the pub is shutting and the shops are closed.

There is a new magazine out I saw on Telly and it is for pocket watches....the mind boggles......

I picked up a large scale model kit of Hms Victory a while back. Still in original packaging for £100. By Constructo. Someday i will finish it. It would cost a fortune through those rip off mags. How can you be motivated when bits are arriving each week but not the bits you want. No time for those mags. Like my kits to come in one box with instructions and at a reasonable price.

I saw that one as well, especially as it mentioned the mechanical movement as I do have some vintage pocket watches already, I looked closer to notice the word quartz on all the faces!
