Hang in there mate, Tamiya is not the only source of tanks.
Keep the fingers crossed and every wishing well you pass toss a penny in, you never know what will happen in the near future

The closest thing to a new release in years has been the Super Sherman. The turret tooling was new. Granted, the Tamiya electronics are top notch, but you would think they'd at least fix the Sherman kit with something much more popular. M4 welded hull varaint with VVSS and a 75MM gunned turret. I would like to see some allied armor. Perhaps a Churchill, Cromwell, Matilda, Grant or Lee For God's sake! Something new! You could even recycle some of the hull tooling for a couple variants mentioned. I may have to make sure Mr. Tamiya sees my Firefly. Perhaps the hamster will start turning the wheel. The tooling can be quite costly, but even in a slow economy, many of us would jump at something new and exciting. However, the 1400.00 retail pricing is rediculous.

have to agree, would be good to see a new tank, but the costs put many off.
ps eastern, dont tell lynne you have a tractor, she'll be hunting you down. she has always wanted to drive one, cant drive a car though.
