Hi,
40 and always wanted a tank and now I have one. Okay, so it is a poor man's purchase, the HL Tiger Pro, so upgraded tracks etc. Not sure the wife will allow me to spend £600+ on a Tamiya model....
I am interested in 'battling', which I assume means IR rather than BB's (which means I will need to purchase a second tank.....

. Can anybody guide men here and more importantly, advise whether there are any such meets in the Sussex area?
Many thanks!

Hi, welcome to the forum. Sorry I can't help you as regard battling groups, but I'm sure there is someone in the forum that will be able too.
I started with a HL tiger1, now I have two all moded to the hilt metal every thing and barrel recoil and flash. I have just started to build a tamiya sherman 105 howitzer model, that should keep me quiet for quite a while.
Glyn.

Welcome to the forum Thelaird.
IR Battling, well the heng long wont work with tamiya tanks as a standard. But your in luck early this year a smart guy at RC Tank Australia produced an adapted board called MAKO which plugs into your IR ready heng long tank and allows you to shoot at and receive hits from tamiya tanks.
For local meets I don't know about your area, if there isn't one try setting a regular one up as it truely is great fun.
