RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Just joined today . but need help already , I am building the Tamiya KV1 but have got a problem, all the functions work except the main gun flash, have done the set up a few times but no change. One thing i have noticed though, when you do the self test on the mf 06 unit i get green then red followed by another red, does this mean something?

Welcome to the forum you find lots of help here on the forum. Unfortunately I don't have any Tamiya tanks so can't help but sure someone else can soon.

Hi, yep main gun recoil works ok. Will try and snip a few raps, just in case i have pinched the wires. thanks for the tip.

hello mate and welcome try as eastern front has told you if no joy post prob again and i have a way but you have to set up receiver different what radio gear are you using buddy???

Thanks for the welcome . Still got no flash on gun, have snipped all tys and checked plug, Recoil works fine as do all other functions but no flash. The radio im using is a Hobbyking HK- t4A V2 2.4G. The rest ofthe kit has been a realy joy to build but this flas thing is so frustrating!!!

Could be a dodgy flash unit, has been known. Have you access to another flash you could plug in temporary to check ?
