I agree with Rob. I was made redundent after 27 years when company went bust. Moved to Devon for a new job and we are all very happy down here.

It was never going to end well, I was on first name terms with the global CEO. I used to call him 'Chris', he used to call me 'Where's my f'ing Billing System'. :D

Just thinking, if we are going to get forgebear to come along, we need to give him sufficient notice, so leaving it to a few days before like last time is not going to be a good idea.

I agree, though he is aware that we are meeting the end of Jan, location to be confirmed. Are we agreed that it is the 21st at The Temple of Doom?

I am hoping I have got my 3 boards back from Clark by then that I sent off for new sounds.

It's the 21st for me.

New sounds?

I am having my King Tiger TK24 converted to Pershing sounds, and that will go in my Pershing.
The Elmod board that was in my M36 is now in the KT.
The TK22 in my Pershing will go in the Gorilla as it is a better soundset than the Bulldog that was in there.
The TK22 Bulldog is having Leopard sounds put on it. I may do a Bueffel or another Kodiak, or a Bergpanzer.
The TK24 that was in the T90 is being converted to Centurion sounds and will go in the Comet.

The T90 and the M36 will be sold when I get around to it.
Doing it this way saves buying any more boards for a while.

Sheeest. That sounds complicated. Is it expensive? There seem to be more sounds available than are on the marketed boards.

He only charges a token fee for time. $10, but he hasn't even asked me to pay yet. If that is for all three boards then it's a bargain, even $30 would be reasonable. Postage was around £10 I think, tracked delivery. Doing three at once makes it viable for me.

Happy New Year.

Scout hut, Templecombe, has been provisionally booked for Sunday 21st January.
