Started looking into fitting the electronics. Hit first snag the barrel wont elevate as it hits the motors

. I might have to live with this for now just want to get her running . The rest will fit just and I can squeeze a small fan in to .

I have now made the RC Mg mount . I was unsure on the angles at the ends of each shield as on my Stug III I cut them streight as all the Stug RC MG units I had seen were streight . But on the pictures of Hetzers they seem to be cut at an angle .

I have now improved the idlers by using the same HL Pz.III road wheels as before but filling the holes with milliput and re drilling the holes more acuratly . I have also added the raised outer lip . A big improvment on my previous effort . I have also now fixed these to the tank ( Mart

) . And also strengthened there mounting. Other detail not visable on these shots are the jack holder and the rear convoy light . I have made the basic frame , but unsure if it will be working just yet ?

First attemt.

Andy, your doing a bang up job on this! I really wish my skills were at this level. I guess it has something to do with old dogs and new tricks or something. Anyway, it is looking great.

Hi Herman your scratch builds are awsome mate

. Ive been reading one of my military vehical mags and it has an articule on the LVT they used in the Pacific mini serries . It made me look at my one hmmm . But thanks for your comments . Ive now made the dummy idler tensioner units and altered the drive sprockets . There still under size but they look a little better now , more like Hetzer ones than Panther (1:25) ones that they actually are. Picts to follow.

Not trying to be too cheeky but the Hetzer looks like an angry Lobster in the red paint!
